Andrzej Jurek Blizniak, age 69, of Chicago, passed away peacefully in his home in Chicago Thursday morning, June 23, 2022. He was born September 15, 1952 in Gorlice, Poland to the late Wladyslaw and the late Czeslawa Blizniak. He was the beloved husband of Ewa; loving father to Marta (Cale) Bonds and Alex (Devin) Blizniak; cherished grandfather of Anna, age 14, Kate, age 12, Ella, age 9, Collins (19 months) and Wren (1 month); fond brother of Halina Obirek, the late Barbara (Zbigniew) Lechonczak, and Gosia (Robert) Pezda. He will be forever remember as a mild-mannered, doting giver of treats who loved reading, music, politics, sports and jokes. He loved to make people laugh. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Visitation Saturday, June 25, 2022 9:30 a.m. at Muzyka & Son Funeral Home, 5776 W. Lawrence Ave., Chicago, until time of Funeral 11:30 a.m with procession to St. Ferdinand Church, 5900 W. Barry Ave., Chicago. Mass 12:30 p.m. Interment Maryhill Cemetery.
